“I was excited to try Greta Sinclair’s cozy mystery as soon as I read the premise. Darcy, a food critic, travels to Scotland with her good friend and dog to celebrate Hogmanay. Having traveled extensively in Scotland, with Edinburgh being one of my favorite places, I was eager to see how it was portrayed. The city, its food, and the celebrations weren’t just a backdrop but a vibrant part of the plot. The author’s use of real knowledge added authenticity, and the murder mystery tied it all together perfectly. This was my first story by Sinclair—and definitely won’t be my last.”
